Hi there!  Thanks for taking the time to visit our website. In a few pages we hope to kindle your interest  in the  heritage  of  Grand Bay-Westfield. The town has a storied past beginning with Maliseet settlements, then Acadian settlers,  followed by   both black and white Loyalists. From this tapestry developed a true community of friends.

The site has been developed and maintained by  the town's  heritage committee, a small but  dedicated volunteer group,  gathering stories and pictures from years gone by. Pictures, stories, additions, and corrections are most welcome and can be submitted to us at grandbaywestfieldheritage@gmail.com.
